Is Your Jewellery Waterproof?

Most of our gold plated jewellery is are crafted from semi-precious materials and intricate designs, and so we always recommend that you remove this jewellery before showering and bathing to keep your gold plated pieces as shiny as possible for as long as possible. If you're looking specifically for jewellery that you never have to take off, we have designed a waterproof collection with 100% waterproof materials.
Why Isn't All of Your Jewellery Waterproof?

Jewellery can only be made to be waterproof when it is crafted from stainless steel and electroplated with PVD gold. This is an excellent way to make simple everyday designs entirely tarnish-proof. However, we have struggled to make delicate and intricate designs with stainless steel, which is a very hard metal and less malleable in comparison to gold or silver. We have decided to make our simple everyday designs with stainless steel, but to revert back to using gold and silver for more delicate designs with gemstones and intricate detailing to keep them looking delicate. Gold and Silver is still tarnish resistant, but it is not 100% waterproof like stainless steel.
What is Your Waterproof Jewellery Made Of?

Our Waterproof pieces are crafted from stainless steel and PVD gold. The PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) 18k Gold electroplating process creates a durable and long-lasting coating on the jewellery, making it resistant to water and moisture. This ensures that you can enjoy your summer activities, such as swimming, snorkelling, or lounging by the beach, without worrying about damage to your jewellery.
